What we are looking for
Guys Grooming is celebrating another birthday this March and we are looking for a dynamic Salon Receptionist to join our team of 20.
This role is there to serve our clients upon their arrival and via phone, email and social media enquiries while being supportive to our exceptional team of qualified professionals as they deliver the industries best Male Grooming services.
We are looking for a qualified Hair/Beauty expert who has a positive attitude and can demonstrate compassion, humility and kindness in the way they treat people.
Sound experience with the Shortcuts software program is looked at very positively. Areas within the Shortcuts program utilized frequently are:
- Appointment scheduling
- Waitlist
- Reports
- Stock control
- Ordering
- Rostering
- Data entry
- Printing Client Profile Cards
But most importantly a person who is engaged with their role, understanding that you cannot do everything by yourself and being part of a team is so much more rewarding than being an individual.

Our services have been designed to best support Men and we are committed to training and developing our team on techniques, products and equipment that will allow us to enhance and constantly improve our service.
There are 20 people in the team with skills across the hair, beauty and retail industries. Each person has a role to play and together we provide a service that is industry leading.

Qualifications
Cert III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification OR
Cert IV or Diploma in Beauty Therapy
